NOBODY FAILS FILM SCHOOL

Real Films. Real Filmmaking. Ridiculously Good Lessons.

Welcome to film school without the outrageous tuition, intimidating lectures, or professors who haven't touched a camera since 1997.

At Nobody Fails Film School, we believe the best way to learn filmmaking is to stop talking about making movies and actually make one.

Founded by filmmaker and producer Casie Ellison and built around the independent film portfolio of Chad Hendricks, Nobody Fails Film School transforms real movies into interactive, hands-on filmmaking adventures.

Every film is a lesson. Every lesson is a challenge. Every challenge brings you one step closer to making a movie of your own.

Forget sitting through endless tutorials, memorizing complicated terminology, or waiting until you can afford fancy equipment.

Here, you'll watch actual independent films, explore the creative decisions behind them, learn practical filmmaking techniques, and put those skills to work.

And here's the best part:

You're not completing a bunch of random assignments. You're building your very own short film along the way.

By the end of your journey, you'll have more than a collection of lessons under your belt.

You'll have a movie to show for it.

HOW THIS MADNESS WORKS

1. WATCH THE MOVIE

Grab your popcorn. Class is officially in session.

Every lesson begins with an original film from Chad Hendricks' independent filmmaking portfolio.

Watch the movie, enjoy the story, and pay attention to the filmmaking choices happening right in front of you.

We'll give you a few things to look for, so don't worry about knowing all the technical stuff yet.

Your mission: Watch, observe, and start thinking like a filmmaker.

2. GET BEHIND THE MADNESS

Ever wonder, "How the heck did they pull that off?"

Now's your chance to find out.

Explore filmmaking tutorials, behind-the-scenes footage, creative decisions, and the real-world problem-solving that goes into independent film production.

Discover what worked, what didn't, and how filmmakers find creative solutions when things don't go according to plan.

Because filmmaking isn't always glamorous.

Sometimes it's duct tape, determination, and figuring things out five minutes before somebody yells, "Action!"

Your mission: Discover how real filmmakers turn creative ideas into finished scenes.

3. LEARN THE TRICKS OF THE TRADE

Time to steal some knowledge. Legally, of course.

Each film introduces a different filmmaking skill.

You'll explore everything from storyboarding, lighting, and sound design to camera techniques, editing, directing, practical effects, and movie magic.

We'll break down the techniques, explain why they work, and show you how to experiment with them yourself.

No unnecessary jargon. No overcomplicated lectures.

Your mission: Learn one new filmmaking technique you can actually use.

4. PROVE YOU WERE PAYING ATTENTION

Pop quiz! Don't make that face.

Before you get your hands dirty, we'll throw a few questions your way to see what you've learned.

These quick, interactive quizzes help reinforce the techniques covered in each lesson.

Miss something? Review the material and try again.

Nobody's getting sent to the principal's office.

Your mission: Show us what you learned and get ready to put it into action.

5. YOUR TURN, DIRECTOR!

Enough watching other people make movies. It's your turn.

Every lesson includes a hands-on filmmaking challenge designed to help you practice your new skills.

But here's where things get interesting.

Rather than creating nine completely unrelated projects, you'll develop one original short film throughout your journey.

You'll begin with an idea, create your storyboard, experiment with sound and lighting, film scenes, practice directing, explore editing, and discover how to bring your vision to life.

Some challenges will help you create actual scenes for your movie. Others will teach you techniques you can use to improve it.

And if something doesn't turn out the way you imagined?

Congratulations. You've experienced filmmaking.

Reshoot it. Rethink it. Try something different.

Your mission: Create something original and move your movie one step closer to completion.

6. BUILD YOUR FILM VAULT

Every great movie starts with a collection of questionable footage.

Throughout the program, you'll collect the creative materials you develop in each lesson.

Storyboards. Shot lists. Sound recordings. Practice footage. Edited scenes. Production plans. Visual effects.

Keep these materials organized in your personal Film Vault so you can revisit them as your movie takes shape.

Not every shot will make your final cut, and that's perfectly fine.

The important thing is that you're learning how to make creative decisions, improve your work, and build a film from the ground up.

Your mission: Save your work, track your progress, and watch your movie come together.

7. COLLECT YOUR BRAGGING RIGHTS

Look at you, becoming a filmmaker and everything.

Complete your lessons, quizzes, and creative challenges to work toward earning achievement badges and course completion certificates.

Each milestone celebrates a new skill you've learned and demonstrated.

From your first storyboard to your first directed scene, you'll have opportunities to recognize your progress.

And when you've completed your filmmaking journey?

There's one final challenge waiting for you.

Your mission: Keep learning, keep creating, and collect your filmmaking achievements along the way.

8. MOVIE #10: YOURS

Plot twist. You've been making a movie this whole time.

After exploring nine original films and completing nine filmmaking challenges, it's time to bring everything together.

Review your footage. Fill in the missing scenes. Make your final edits. Add sound, titles, and credits.

Then finish your very own original short film.

That's right.

You didn't come here to learn how to maybe make a movie someday.

You came here to make one.

Your final mission: Complete an original 2–5 minute short film and earn your NFFS Filmmaker achievement.

YOUR FIRST LESSON IS ON US!

PAIR O DEEZ: DRAW IT BEFORE YOU SHOOT IT

We're kicking things off with PAIR O DEEZ, the 14th film in Chad Hendricks' filmmaking portfolio.

And because we believe the best way to experience Nobody Fails Film School is to actually give it a shot, your first lesson is completely free.

Your first filmmaking adventure introduces you to the art of storyboarding.

You'll discover how filmmakers take an idea, break it into individual shots, and create a visual roadmap before the cameras start rolling.

Then it's your turn.

Create a simple story idea, plan your scene, and build your first storyboard.

No artistic masterpiece required. Stick figures are welcome.

When you've completed the lesson, you'll have your first filmmaking project, your first achievement, and the foundation for something much bigger.

Your own movie.

No experience? Perfect.

No expensive equipment? Even better.

No idea what you're doing?

Congratulations. You're exactly where you're supposed to be.

Your first lesson is free. Your filmmaking journey starts here.

WHO BELONGS HERE?

Aspiring filmmakers.

Curious creatives.

Future directors.

Writers with wild imaginations.

Actors who want to understand what happens behind the camera.

Content creators ready to take their storytelling to the next level.

And anyone who's ever watched a movie and thought:

"I want to do that."

You don't need a film degree, a Hollywood connection, an expensive camera, or somebody's permission to get started.

You need an idea, a little curiosity, and the willingness to give it a shot.

Whether you're working alone with a phone or gathering a group of friends to make your first masterpiece, there's a place for you here.

THE ONLY WAY TO FAIL IS TO NEVER START.

Nobody Fails Film School wasn't created to turn beginners into perfect filmmakers overnight.

It was created to help people stop waiting for the perfect opportunity and start creating with what they have.

Because filmmaking isn't about getting everything right on the first take.

It's about experimenting, solving problems, making decisions, learning from mistakes, and finding the determination to finish what you started.

Your first film might be messy.

Your lighting might be questionable.

Your actors might be your friends, your family, or whoever you could convince to stand in front of your phone for five minutes.

That's okay.

Some of the best lessons happen when absolutely nothing goes according to plan.

Here, you're encouraged to experiment, make mistakes, try again, and discover your own creative voice.

Learn at your own pace.

Build your skills one film at a time.

Celebrate every achievement.

And most importantly, finish something you can call your own.

Because the goal isn't to know everything before you begin.

The goal is to begin, keep going, and make the movie.

NOBODY FAILS. EVERYBODY FILMS.
